For those of you who follow my other blogs, I realize that it’s been a long time since I updated.  The New Year has given me a whole new level of enthusiasm and ideas and I am  hoping to share what I know and gather some of the best links and information both on and off the Internet.

In the face of all that’s wrong, it can feel overwhelming to do what’s right for ourselves, our family and our comminities. It is my goal to make this blog all about self-sufficiency, self-reliance and empowerment.  No matter where you live – whether it’s rural or in the city,  those three goals are some of the most important – especially in today’s world.  We all face environmental, social and econommic challenges.  The best way to tackle them, I believe, is collectively through sharing information and working together.

So, as I set up this blog with its own domain name, I am also getting together the other links via social media outlets.  Please stay tuned!  I am still learning how to make WordPress work, so if something is missing or doesn’t work or if there is a topic you want to see an article about, please give me a shout in the comments field!
